Password Generator
Create a strong random password. It is generated on your device and never sent anywhere.
What makes a password strong
Length matters most. Each extra character multiplies the number of guesses an attacker needs. A random 16-character password using letters, numbers and symbols is far beyond what current tools can crack by guessing. Predictable choices such as names, birthdays and keyboard patterns are weak even when they are long.
How this generator works
Passwords are produced with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (the Web Crypto API), not with an ordinary predictable random function. At least one character from every selected group is included, and the result is shuffled.
Good habits
Use a different password for every account, store them in a reputable password manager and turn on two-factor authentication for email, banking and social media. Never share passwords over chat or email.

What length should I use?
At least 14 to 16 characters for important accounts. Use the maximum the website allows for your email and password manager.
Why can't I select nothing?
At least one character type is needed to build a password.
